MUJER
I am a woman. I am a woman.
So, what exactly am I?
Well… I can be many things.
I can be a daughter, a sister, a barren aunt who would do anything to earn the love of her nephews, a proud mother, a widow, a lady, a friend, a whore, a slave, a lover, an adulteress. I can be weak, I can be strong, I can be humiliated every day of my life, I can humiliate… I can give, I can feel shame, I can create life, I can bring happiness, I can build, I can destroy.
I can be so many things in this world… some I choose to be, some were forced on me, some I tried to change with no success, and some I worked so hard to achieve.
This is life.
Each of us has our own story…
But being a woman is the highest privilege of all.
A woman, in every way, is beautiful—even when she suffers, even when she serves someone and prays for the day it will end.
A woman is the world.
We have the power to move mountains.
We are full of mercy. We are strong, smart, sensitive, intelligent, loving… and so much more than words can describe.
A woman is the earth.
Life.
Light.
Love.
This album was born from suffering and pain.
It is a wake-up call for every woman in the world to see and love herself, to respect and appreciate herself.
We are not dependent on anyone.
We must be independent.
We are everything.
We are free.
But our greatest sin is that we are prisoners of ourselves.
True freedom will come only when we are free from every fear.
